The Hawaiian Region team is developing a local açaí resource with a Brazilian team shipping directly from Brazil to Hawaiʻi. Future fruit programs may also include dragon fruit and acerola.

The resource is designed for smoothie shops, restaurants, hotels, roadside stands, food trucks, and other operators building fresh bowl and grab-and-go programs.

The upcoming Smoothie Shop Association is intended to connect operators and partners around shared knowledge, standards, and category growth.
